Irish National Humerous Intervarsity

This is a fledging I.V. The first I.V. was held in 1993 but since then it has struggled to get going. In 1996 it was not even held due to confusion over who should host it (Limerick thought that UCG as the previous winners would host it while UCG thought that Limerick would continue to host the competition, both societies sat back waiting for an invitation from the other and it was only at the end of the year that people realised that it had not been held. After that it was decided that Limerick would continue to host the competition each year unless another college expressed a definite intrest). The fact that UCG lost the Trophy has not helped matters.
