Debating Chamber

The University of Limerick and the UL Students Union are building a new Theater as part of the new Student Center on Campus. It is proposed that this theater would be used by societies such as Debating, Drama, Film, Law, etc.

 The above diagram is the proposal for the ideal Debates Venue which I submitted in my capacity as the debating "expert" on the sub-committee to develop a proposal for the venue. It is unlikely that this will be the accepted design (the final plans are due to be published shortly with work starting on the building late this year).

 This is however the sort of debates chamber I would like to see in U.L. I believe that it is ideally suited to modern parliamentary style debating.
